What is the different between -was.ear and .ear

Hi All ,

Just wish to know what the different between -was.ear and .ear file in Soa suite applications .

For example : 1) soa-composer-was.ear and soa-composer.ear
2) soa-infra-b2bui-was.ear and soa-infra-b2bui.ear

like there are many ear files. Please could some one can explain on this .
