what is the difference between Part.Attachment and Part.INLINE

Hai all,
I wrote some code to retrive mail Attachmnts from mail box.First I usd only "disposition.equals(Part.ATTACHMENT)"but i got only few attachmens from mail box.If I use the "disposition.equals(Part.INLINE) I got the all the Attachments .What is the problem here without usinf Part.INLINE
