What is the ADF equivalent of h:outputFormat

Hi All,

I want to display a parameterized text on the screen. The text is stored in the resourcebundle, the parameter comes from an evaluation of an EL expression.

A construct like
<af:outputText value="..." id="ot1" partialTriggers="otherId" >
<f:param id="p1" value="#{theElForParameter}" />
</af:outputText>

is not valid. And using h:outputFormat is not an option due to the partialTriggers requirement.

Any idea (I must be overlooking a tag, I think)?
