What is recommended swap in system with 100GB plus RAM

Hello,

As per swap memory thumb rule Swap partition is suggested to be twice of system memory. (eg 8GM RAM then 16GB Swap)

However in system with less local disk where OS is installed and with very high RAM eg 64GB, can we keep SWAP partition  of 32GB.

Any problem it will cause where Swap partition is less than RAM.
