What exactly is Oracle WebDB used for ? I never heard of it but need a little background on it.
I found WebDB Basic concepts, but that's not helping all that much, as far as overall understanding.
I have been using Oracle Designer for the past 6 months, creating Web modules. But it's a legacy tool and the organization where I used it needs to replace it, like 5 years ago.
I am currently investigating Oracle APEX, and installed this at home and looked around. That to me looks like it's in the same genre of Designer - screens, reports, etc. (roughly like MS Access too, but web-based).
Oracle WebDB looks old as the hills though - who still uses it, and for what ?
