What is marvel?

Hello,

I've read several times about "marvel" in earlier postings of this forum. What is it? I think it is the predecessor of HTML DB, isn't it? Can anyone tell me, when (time and Oracle Release) it were provided by Oracle? Can I somewhere find some documentations about it?

I need it for my diploma thesis.
