What is JCOP?

Hi all,

Can you assist me in understanding all these smart card-related technologies? I have created an application that uses the jpcsc library. So far, it has given me what I need, just plain reading some files in my card. But am thinking of extending it to support java cards in the future. I read about JCOP and OCF but am not sure about their difference. What is the difference between the two? What API should I use? Where can I get the API?
