What is inside the Flashback Files (*:FLB)

Hi,
does anybody know, what Oracle stores inside the FLB Files? I thought everything, that enhance the redologs and isn´t stored inside the redologs (like truncate table) is stored there,
but that means that if you truncate a table a lot of data should transfered to this file. i could´nt see that. Does anybody know more about this topic ?
