What does this listener status means ?
Hi
My environment is Oracle 11gR2 (Version 11.2.0.1.0)
OS - IBM -AIX server
We run 2 instance in this server and when i start the listener services i can see status as below:
$ lsnrctl status

I am pretty confused by seeing the highlighted words "Service "orcl" has 2 instance(s). one is UNKNOWN and another one is READY. if my instance is up and open i should only see status is READY alone why am i seeing UNKNOWN too.
Need your inputs .....
