What does Acknowledgement mode set to "None" means..?

Hi All,

I am using "Custom Document over Generic Exchange" busines protocol with
File-1.0 as Transport protocol

When we deploying configuration, B2B is showing error message saying
"Acknowledgement mode should be set to None"
So I set it None for both partners

What above setting reflects...?
Is it means Acknowledgements will never be sent out from B2B..?

I also set
'Functional ACK required " to Yes
"Is Ack handled by B2B" to Yes
