hello forum,
what do the arrows at the end of
these relationship lines mean?
i'm referring to the one arrowhead - opposite of the crow's feet - that points to the "Warehouses" entity in
this diagram. and the other three arrowheads that point to the "Product_Information" entity.
I understand
ERDs and cardinality in general. I know what
Barker Notation is.
I know that the "crow's feet" are the "many" side of a "N:many" relationship. and i already know that a line
without an arrowhead represents the "1" side of a "1:N" relationship. But the only thing i can find in the datamodeler documentation that mentions arrowheads, is a reference to "Foreign Key Arrow Direction" in the
Oracle SQL Developer Online Help:
"Foreign Key Arrow Direction: Controls whether arrowhead points toward the primary key or the foreign key in foreign key relationship arrows."
Is that referring to those arrowheads in
this diagram?
Thanks in advance for your help.
many thanks,
