What Can I legally use? - confused
Hi,
So I'm new to Oracle. I downloaded it and did the install, followed the instructions etc. Did the 2 day dba course, which focuses mostly on using the OEM.
I'm licensed for Standard Edition One.
However, a guy in IRC told me that most of the tabs at the top of OEM are for Enterprise Edition only, and my sales rep told me that Oracle doesn't go as far as actually preventing you from using things you aren't licensed for...
So how do I figure out which tabs I'm not allowed to use? If all the features are right there, and easily available its awfully tempting to use them and I'd just like to be clear.
I don't need RAC or GRID or anything fancy, I just want a basic Oracle SE1 database.
