what are the advantages of SECURITY+ cert?

Hi All,

Yes I do understand that experience is the key.

But as a question, if a DBA wants to add a security certification as a BASIC qualifier, to enhance security knowledge in conjunction with database skills, what is everyone's opinion

on the COMPTIA SECURITY+ certification?

I a aware that Oracle offers the Oracle Certified Security Implementation specialist and that is one of my goals.
