I got messgae in alert log file

Incremental checkpoint up to RBA [0xe.58bfe.0], current log tail at RBA [

While reading Oracle documents and articles about Oracle, I also come cross these three terms a lot

Incremental checkpoint
current log tail 
RBA

I really want to know what they are in a short and clean definition. Long discussions are devoted to 'Incremental checkpoint' in url
