wget error

Hi:

I am getting following error:

[root~]# wget http://public-yum.oracle.com/public-yum-ol6.repo
--2013-06-03 08:49:44-- http://public-yum.oracle.com/public-yum-ol6.repo
Resolving public-yum.oracle.com... failed: Temporary failure in name resolution.
wget: unable to resolve host address “public-yum.oracle.com”
[root~]#

I tried all that is posted on internet but in vain.

While installing Oracle Linux 6, I skipped the network configuration step. Not sure if this is the error.

Internet is not working on this OEL 6 on vmware on windows7. However, Internet is working fine using the same wireless connection on Windows 7.

Please help me fix this ASAP.
