WebUtil / jacob.dll on 64 bit

CInglezNov 10 2011 — edited Nov 11 2011
Hello all.

I am using forms 11.1.1.4. I configured webutil (embedded on ofm) with jacob 1.10 (wich is the recommended version). Everything works fine on 32bit browsers like firefox or IE, but not on 64bit IE (jacob.dll cannot load on 64bit environments).

Has anybody tried to upgrade jacob to a newer version (like 1.16), so it has both dlls (32 and 64 bit)? If so, how should I configure webutil.cgf to download the correct dlls?

Another question: the first time we try to use webutil, the DLLs are downloaded to the client machine BUT it can only do that if you are running your web browser as an administrator (Windows 7). If not, it cannot save the dlls locally. Is there any workaround for that?

Thanks in advance.
