webhop refuses to connect

I have a "Host" service, "myname.dyndns.biz", that points to my local external IP address.

My router forwards traffic on port 9090 to a server running on my LAN.

I can type http://myname.dyndns.biz:9090 into a browser and reach the server.

I have a WebHop service, "myportlessname.dyndns.biz", which redirects to http://myname.dyndns.biz:9090

When I enter http://myportlessname.dyndns.biz into a (Chrome) browser, I get the error message "myname.dyndns.biz refused to connect"
