WebCenter Universal Content Management vs WebCenter Content

ChrisJuniorJun 10 2013 — edited Jun 11 2013

Ok, so I'm really confused.. I know this question is asked a lot, but the answers I'm seeing don't make any sense. In this document Oracle lists both UCM and WebCenter Content as two different applications with different features (although if you look closely you'd notice that they are all the same features, just worded differently). But in this article it states that WebCenter Content was formerly Enterprise Content Manager, and in this one it states that WebCenter Content used to be named UCM.

How does that make any sense??
