Dear Experts,
Lately I've been trying to setup Webcenter portal 11g on my local machine, windows environment. Here are the components to be installed:
- Oracle Database XE 10g.
- Weblogic Server 10.3.6.
- RCU 11.1.1.6
- Webcenter Portal 11.1.1.9
This installation did not complete successfully, for the obvious reasons that the webcenter portal installation version is incompatible with RCU version. My Next attempt involved the following:
- Oracle Database XE 11g.
- Weblogic Server 10.3.6.
- RCU 11.1.1.9
At this point, creation of MDS schema was faulted; it completed successfully, however when I check the packages created, I find that the MDS_INTERNAL_SHREDDED package is faulty. I tried common solutions that I found on the internet such as recompling the packages, or even defining the jdbc environment variable"RCU_JDBC_TRIM_BLOCKS = TRUE" , prior to the rcu installation setup, all proved to be unsuccessful, still getting errors in the MDS schema creation.
Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to solve this issue? or if I'm perhaps missing something? thanks for all suggestions.
