I have few questions regarding webcenter licensing.
1. Is this right forum to ask? If not please guide me the right one?
We have built an ADF/WebCenter application. We are using webcenter mainly for Menu creation (navigation hierarchy model), Page security (Pages.xml), Content presenter, RIDC apis to interact with UCM programatically.
Our aim is to reduce licensing cost of webcenter, based on some configuration. Customer will set a flag in database table (say USE_WEBCENTER_FEATURE = 'Y/N'), based on its value we would like to use webcenter or not.
1. For example content-presenter, I will put a condition on content-presenter task-flow binding and activate it only if customer has configured it. My project will have all webcenter libraries and I believe to run it correctly on customer instance I may need to ask them to extend their weblogic server with webcenter. To sum up we will have libraries but may not be using them in project. Will it also cost licensing fees.
2. Is RIDC library part of webcenter or I can use it without webcenter?
3. Is WebCenter license free with ADF?
4. What all licenses we need to take, weblogic? ADF?, WebCenter?
5. Is there a way to deploy ADF/Webcenter application on JBoss server? If yes, which license I would require to buy?
