WebCenter Content - Image location on Content Server UCM

Hi,

I would like to find out the physical location of Image saved on the Content server file system, where I can get this information? also when I type the following URL on the browser it shows me an image, how this works.. how this URL search for image against documentID and show the image?

http://amcon-orclipm1:16080/imaging/faces/Pages/Viewer.jspx?documentId=5.IPM_380279
