Web Services in Apex

Hi All,

I have a requirement based upon a web service. I need to send request and receive response from web service through Apex. I have no idea about implementing Web Services in Apex. Can anyone help me out to achieve this?

Am using Apex 3.2 and Oracle 10g for my application.
