Way to stop mirror resyncing (SVM)

Hi,

Is there a method to stop or suspend disk resyncing in SVM?
I tried 'metadetach -f d30 d31' and 'metaoffline -f d30 d31' but
they report: "d30: resync in progress"

metastat -c
d30 m 30GB d31 (resync-12%) d32
d31 s 30GB c0t1d0s5
d32 s 30GB c0t0d0s5
