want to retrieve location of a toolbar at the time of docking

I have Jtoolbars in my application which is floatable.
whenever user drags it from the default location and places it at some other location i want to store that location and want to display the toolbars at that location next time user opens the application.
Currently the parent container of the toolbar is having BOX Layout. I am using getLocation method of the toolbar but it is returning 0 every time regardless of the location of the toolbar.
Please help me in this regard.........
