VPN - Embedded oc4j - remote database

Hi All,

I have JDEV 10g 10.1.3 on my laptop.
I have JSP page and work with local embedded OC4J server. Using oracle database 10g. Within my company Jsp opens in browser, works fine.

Problem: Everything same as above. Only thing is, I connect from home using VPN. JSP does not open in browser. Takes long time and gives error. "Connection Failed" The remote host or network may be down. Pl try request again.

Why does this happen ? What is the solution ?
