VNC setup: How to check firewall?

Hi,

I am accessing our remote server using putty. I want to run Oracle gui installer using VNC but I can not startup vnc server.

login as: root
root@124.107.195.46's password:
Last login: Mon Feb  7 19:40:35 2011 from 222.127.47.170
[root@oracletrng ~]# service vncserver start
Starting VNC server:                                       [  OK  ]
[root@oracletrng ~]# service vncserver status
Xvnc is stopped
[root@oracletrng ~]#

How do I know if there are firewalls blocking my VNC server?
