VNC for EBS R12.2 OL6

Hi ALL,

EBS R12.2.4

11gR2

OL6

I want to install VNCserver to our EBS instance.

I need this very badly especially when I apply big adop patches which take so long, that Even if my PC is logged-off the patching still runs.

Unlike if you login using putty.exe, your patching cycle will be aborted

One if the requirement to activate VNCserver is to "yum groupinstall" basic-desktop.

But why is that I can not find it?

Actually I was able to run > yum install tigervnc-server first

[root@db ~]# yum groupinstall basic-desktop

Trying other mirror.

Failed to add groups file for repository: ol6_latest - None

Warning: Group basic-desktop does not exist.

No packages in any requested group available to install or update
