VM Server 3.3.1 Installation does not find any disks

Dear Folks,

I try to install VMS 3.3.1 on a server, where 3.2.7 is running fine. Just as a little upgrade, unfortunately it has to be done as a new installation from scratch. Ok, why not.

BUT: The 3.3.1 installation does not find any disks where to install it to.

The DVD with iso image in general is ok: A test installation into Virtual Box on a PC worked fine without issues.

Is anybody aware of disks that are NOT supported anymore in the new version?

Is there a way to convince the package to detect my drives successfully?

Any help is highly appreciated.

PS Our hardware is an Intel Modular Server with MFS5520VI Compute Module and some RAID5 Virtual Drives, allocated to the server.
