VM Manager out of sync

We're using OVS successfully for some time with many guests (both PV & HW)

There's however issue that VM Manager is out of sync with the xm server. The OVM reports "Power Off" even when the guests are "Running" (xm list).

The strange thing is then when we shutdown the guest and than start it up again (using OVM) the status in OVM is "Running" for short period of time (30-60 sec) and then goes to "Power Off".

When I change the status manually in OVM database (as described on this forum) the status will change back to "Power Off" in short time.

I've checked that Oracle Agent is reporting the status correctly ("Running").

Is there any way to "reset" OVM or force it to refresh all statuses ?
Is anyone else experiencing the same problem ?
