VM 3.0.3 dom0 RTC/ system time

Jurajl-OracleJan 10 2012 — edited Jan 10 2012
Is it OK, that hwclock cannot be used to get/set RTC time of server?
Device /dev/rtc is missing, there is only /dev/rtc0. (250, 0 /dev/rtc0)
Is there some supported workaround to this? (cp -a /dev/rtc /dev/rtc0 , perhaps)

What time does PVM guest start with?
I think it should use system time of OVM server (dom0), but some of my tests show that PVM guest uses RTC of OVM server.
Anybody to confirm this?
