Virtual IP configuration during RAC Installation
Dear All,
I am working on Oracle Cluster 10gR2 for 2 nodes.
Have configured Public and Private IPs during installtion for both network cards.
I have specify Virtual IP addresses in the host files of each node. But i can ping virtual IP address and installer is also giving error where we specify private, public and virtual IP addresses.
I just need to know do i have to do anything else so that these IPs can ping each other? Secondly the document i am following says that public and virtual IPs should be on one network card is. eth0 while private IP should be on eth1. How can i associate my virtual IP with ech0?
Please help me with this.
