VIP for new node to be added in cluster

Hi,

I am planning to add a new node to an existing cluster.

I have defined the vip address in the .zone file and .arpa file in /var/named.

However when I do:
[oracle@rac2 bin]$ ./srvctl status vip -n rac2
PRKO-2165 : VIP does not exist on node(s) : rac2
[oracle@rac2 bin]$

What else should I do?
