Viewing Oracle docs on a Kindle?

I'm thinking of buying a Kindle, solely to view technical PDFs.

Has anyone viewed the Oracle doc PDFs (e.g., from tahiti.oracle.com) on a Kindle? I understrand PDF viewability is kind of hit-or-miss.
