Viewing Data in Global Temporary Tables

Simon TannNov 10 2010 — edited Nov 10 2010
Hi,

We have three environments - DEV, QA and Production. During development and QA it would be useful to be able to view the data held in a Global Temporary Table for another session. For example, if we run something in one of our applications that populates the table it would be useful to interrogate that data from a Toad / sqlplus session for debugging purposes.

Other than converting the GTT to a normal table in DEV and QA, is there any way to access this data?

Cheers

Simon
