View Compile errors when compiling via script?

826978Feb 16 2012 — edited Feb 16 2012
I am using SQL Developer 3.0.03, how do you see compile errors when running a script?

I want more info on where in my script the errors are than the following:
PROCEDURE proc_name compiled
Warning: execution completed with warning

Some of the previous versions did display the errors. Some did not. Is there a setting in the preferences that you can change so that the errors will be displayed in the log?

OR - is adding “show errors” at the bottom of the script the only way to see the errors? Can it not be defaulted to always show me my errors?

Thanks,
