About
This video provides an introduction to Calico software defined networking and security in a Kubernetes cluster. It explains the networking and security benefits Calico brings to Kubernetes deployments, and the components used to implement Calico.
As part of a curated set of open source Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) projects, Calico is an open source networking and network security solution for containers, virtual machines, and native host-based workloads. Calico controls traffic flows using the Linux networking dataplane, and complimenting that with Linux forwarding and access control.
Content:
This video explains how Calico provides simple and scalable IP routing and networking security for containers and VMs and lists components used by Calico a Kubernetes cluster.
