Very slow Import DataPump in Oracle 12c

Hi all,

I want to know, how can we speed up the Data Pump Import/Export performance in Oracle 12c?

I notice that it's taking me ages to run Export & Import for a 2Gb dump file. For export it took me 12hours to complete it which is unacceptable for me. For import which I'm running now it's taking close to 8hours and it's stuck at SCHEMA_EXPORT/STATISTICS/MARKER.

I've check at dba_datapump_jobs and it's showing executing.

Any idea how can I improve the performance? My system is a Solaris 64bit SPARC with Oracle Database 12.1.0.1.0.
