!!!!!!...Version Enabled Tables.. Workspace manager problem help.

hi..
i am facing a problem while making a table version enabled.. and i dont know any thing tht why the error is there.. ..

the error are

Ora 20080 invalid 'hist' parameter for enable versioning

ora 06512: at sys.ltddl line 441 ,552,etc

what is this parameter and why is it causing trouble..

i dont exactly know about it ..

kindly have ur input as urgent as possible..
