APEX

I am very much interested in having a version control application using APEX where the code zip file will be stored in file system. So once the application is ready then it can be integrated with Incident Tracking and Bug Tracking application, which are going to be part of APEX 4.2 release. In this way oracle will be able to provide customers the tools necessary for any oracle eBusiness or other oracle projects - be it Maintenance or Implementation.

Currently there are so many tools available in the market. Some of them are very efficient and tightly integrated with oracle. But they are very costly. Some others are available free as open source but they are not tightly and efficiently integrated with oracle.

From maintenace project perspective the source code controll tool is very much important. We want some tools where as soon as a ticket or bug has been identified the source code should be automatically locked explicitly.

Any idea on how to proceed with this???
