vdbench running on multiple host/server

I would like to ask if it is possible to run vdbench on 2 (or multiple) server hosts that are reading the same volumes.

Basically, the volumes have not been divided exclusively per server.

I have been getting the JRE runtime error, EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) on these conditions:

1. running vdbench on both servers at the same time

2. running vdbench on 1 server only (1 server is OFF)

3. running vdbench on 1 server (1 server is ON)
