VB/Win32 appl -> Wine/Linux

Hi,

I want to replace the Windows OS with Debian GNU/Linux 3.0 and Wine (CrossOver Office), and I am encountering unresolveable problems installing Oracle Client für Win32 using Wine.

Is there another way of providing the VisualBasic applications running under Wine access to our corporate Oracle databases, using either OCI or ODBC?
