Value column number of a table that contains the value "1E126"

Hello,

There is a table in my schema that has a column number. A user has placed a high value and see the value this column appears "1E126".

In some cases, the error ORA-01426: numeric overflow.

I wonder if there is a way to solve this inconvenience.
