version-Application Express 4.0.2.00.06
Os-microsoft window server 2003
Browser-Mozilla firebox 3.6.17
Oracle Database 11g Express Edition Release 11.2.0.2.0 - 64 bit production

i have P6_name text field item,which contain the name of application,
when enter application name is already exists
it should give error application already exists

how to validate for this
