v3.05 install Q's
807557Mar 27 2005 — edited Mar 28 2005My install will start, then after I enter a few simple configurations I get a "Disc not Found" error.
I'm trying to load this on a second partition of an x86 XPsp2 pc. The pc specs are: athlon xp 2.5Ghz, 1G pc3200 memory, 9800xt vid card, plextor cdrw, wd raptor sata hdd. The 2nd partition is about 20G and is currently empty and formatted in ntfs.
I assume the first cd loaded into memory until it needed to start the install. I have discovered Linux sata drivers for my controller while searching for Unix sata drivers.
There are drivers for Redhat, SuSe and United Linux included. A GUI moniter folder it seems that I'm to include on the floppy, and an open source folder with tweaks to use on kernels above 2.4.20-1.
I posted on a similar thread here in the install section but it was under the general Solaris heading. I just found this Solaris 10 specific section, and hope some here can point me in the right direction.
