I was connected to Oracle and working normally for a few hours. VSCode automatically updated itself. I continued working. At some point SQLDEV extension became unresponsive. I shutdown VSCode and restart. Reboot PC; disabled then enabled the extension; uninstalled and reinstalled VSCode; checked the connection folder permissions, full access. Nothing fixes the issue.
Activating Oracle SQL Developer Extension for VSCode … is permanently displayed in the VSCode status bar.
