UTL_I18N.STRING_TO_RAW function

Hi all,

actually i want to do some type of encoding of my data using pl/sql. For that i need to use UTL_I18N.STRING_TO_RAW() Function but i dont know the charactersets supported by this function. Can anybody help me out in this?
