Oracle 19.3 on Win2019.
One of our application spits out a very long file without line breaks. We determine where these line breaks should be. My understanding is that max size of a line of text in UTL_FILE.GET_LINE is 32767. I need to be able to split the line of text into chunks of 500 bytes.
Questions:
How do I "get" the line of text that is longer than 32767?
How do I "walk" the line to pull chunks of 500 bytes? Do I use SUBSTR() or UTL_FILE.FSEEK()?
