Utl_File or standard spool

Hi All,

I have a table which contains data round 1, 11, 23, 456 records which I need to export to a flat file (.txt) with a '|' delemiter.

please let me know which is the best way(in terms of performance) either to use utl_file mechanism or standard spool.
