SQL & PL/SQL

Hi All,

           I am writing a query which have

Select  emp_id ,  '£' || emp_salary  as Salary from employee .

Employee:

Emp_id  emp_salary

1                4000

2              5000

When i run the query and export to csv file through spooling in sql plus , i found it displayed as

emp_id Salary

1       ,  ?4000

2       , ?5000

I even tried by saving file by using Encoding as UTF 8 in Notepad++ and try to spool the output into the file. It didn't work ?

Could any one kindly advise .
