Using Transact Server in IPM

Simon TannOct 16 2013

Hi Guys

I am trying to use the Transact server to export objects from the IPM system and I am hoping that someone can give me some pointers.

From the instruction manual it would appear that you simply put a text file into the folder defined as the input directory and after the set polling time the Transact Server will parse the file and perform the export.  Does that sound right?

This is the content of my file:

TRANSACT||EOFLD|*****|STOP-ON-ERROR|*

EXPORT|*****|Corporate Super - ACCOUNT NUMBER or NAME|ACCOUNT NAME|Tann|EOFLD|-1|AllPages|NA|NA|NoMatchOK|AnnotsYes|9|TIFF|E:\OracleIPM\Transact\Exports|Test|NA|NA|NA|NA|EOFLD|*****

Where "Corporate Super - ACCOUNT NUMBER or NAME" is the saved search, "ACCOUNT NAME" is the field to search for and "Tann" is the search value.

This does not seem to work - it doesn't raise any errors, it just does nothing.

There is a second field in the defined search - does this need to be included?  If so, do I simply put a "%" as the search value?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks

Simon
